Accessibility
Here you will find answers to questions about our accessibility and the accessibility of NBC. Are we wheelchair-friendly? (Absolutely!), where is the bicycle parking, and can I park for free?
I lost or forgot something, do you have a lost and found?
When we find items left by our guests, we keep them in our lost and found. Have you lost or forgot something at NBC? Please contact us at +31 (0)6 - 47 88 74 52. Our hospitality team can check if it has been found.
Can I work somewhere before my meeting?
Of course! We almost always have a spot available for you in one of our reception areas. Want to be sure? Give us a call at 030 - 602 69 00.
Are there restrooms available throughout the venue?
There are several restroom groups on every floor and in every wing. We also have four accessible restrooms: three on the ground floor and one in the lounge. The route to the restrooms is displayed on our narrowcasting screens.

Are there charging points for electric cars?
There are 27 charging points for electric cars in the parking lot.
Is NBC accessible by public transport?
NBC is easily accessible by public transport. Trams 20 and 21 take you from Utrecht Central Station to NBC in 15 minutes. When you get off at the Zuilenstein stop, you are right at the entrance of NBC. Plan your route via 9292 or Google Maps. We have already included our address.
Is there a bicycle or motorcycle parking?
There is a bicycle parking area at the entrance of NBC Congrescentrum where bicycles and motorcycles can be parked. You can find the bicycle parking under the orange tower.
Is NBC accessible for people with disabilities?
NBC is well accessible for people with disabilities. We have no thresholds or narrow hallways. Additionally, there are two different elevators available to reach all spaces and floors. NBC has four accessible restrooms, three on the ground floor and one on the second floor in the lounge. Parking is available right at the entrance on the free public parking lot.
Is there a nursing room available?
We have many different spaces, so there is always a suitable nursing room available.
Do you have hotel facilities?
We do not have hotel facilities on-site for guests. If you wish to stay nearby before or after your event at NBC, there are several hotels in the immediate vicinity, such as Van der Valk Hotel Utrecht or Fletcher Hotel Nieuwegein.
Are you organizing an event with us? We offer two suites in our NBC tower specifically for event organizers. This allows event organizers to start their day well-rested. Both suites have access to a shared kitchen and feature a private bathroom. For more information and pricing, please contact us.
Is the routing clear for guests to find the rooms?
We ensure that all guests can find the correct rooms through various means. Our hospitality team directs guests, and we also use our extensive and innovative narrowcasting system. Throughout NBC, more than 60 screens display the routing information.
Can I park at the NBC?
The parking lot surrounding the NBC has 1.300 free parking spaces and 27 charging stations for electric cars. Plan your route via Google Maps. We have already put our address there.
In the rare case that the parking lot in front of NBC is full, you can use P+R Westraven. From P+R, it is just one tram stop to NBC.
Is it possible to print on location?
Yes, you can print at our location. Just mention it to one of our hospitality staff, they will be happy to assist you.
How is your accessibility?
The NBC is strategically located near the A2, A12 and A27 in the heart of the Netherlands. In addition, the NBC is perfectly accessible by public transportation within 15 minutes you can be on the sidewalk with tram 20 or 21 from Utrecht Central Station. The parking lot around the NBC has 1.300 free parking spaces and 27 charging stations for electric cars. Plan your route via Google Maps. We already put our address there.
Do you have a prayer room?
We have many different spaces and therefore there is always a suitable prayer room available.
Do you have an elevator?
We have two elevators at our disposal. This makes the entire building easily accessible.
Is there wifi available in the NBC?
Yes! Our sustainable building is well insulated, so be sure to use our free Wi-Fi network. You can get started with that right away. Select the network 'NBC-Free' and you can connect without a password.
Is there anywhere I can call or work undisturbed?
Of course, you can find a quiet place to call or work during your meeting. We have several rooms where this is possible. By the way, did you know that we even have six different work pods? These are equipped workstations where you can quietly attend an online meeting.

How many rooms does NBC have?
NBC has 2 event areas, 22 rooms of various sizes, and a large garden. This ensures there is always a space that fits your event. You can find all the rooms and their capacities in different setups on our rooms page.
What is the maximum capacity of NBC?
NBC Congrescentrum has 2 event areas and 22 sub-rooms, allowing us to accommodate events from 40 to 3,000 guests. Do you want more information about our rooms and their availability for your event? Please contact us.
Do the rooms have break areas?
We have several foyers that can be used as break areas for your event. These foyers are always adjacent to the meeting rooms and come standard with a Nespresso coffee machine and a refrigerator stocked with soft drinks and water. Additionally, the culinary arrangements for breaks can be set up in the foyers.
How many break-out rooms does NBC have?
NBC has 22 different break-out rooms in various sizes. This ensures there is always a space that suits your number of guests. You can view all our rooms and their capacities on our rooms page.
What setups are possible?
At NBC, all spaces are flexible, allowing for almost any setup. We would be happy to discuss which setup best suits your event and the chosen space. Please contact us to discuss further.
Does the location or space have furnishings?
NBC is a full-service location, and our services are based on various location packages. Our packages always include complete furnishings for the number of guests attending the event.
Is there decoration available?
NBC is a full-service location, and our services are based on various location and hospitality packages. These packages include options for decorations such as fresh flowers. Additionally, a complete setup with chairs, seating areas, and tables is part of the package. We are happy to tell you the exact contents of our packages. Want even more decoration? Is NBC suitable for weddings or private parties?
We focus on the business market and therefore only organize business events such as conferences, corporate events, workshops, staff meetings, or company parties. At our event location Green Village, we do facilitate weddings and private parties. For more information, please visit the Green Village website.
Do you have hotel facilities?
We do not have hotel facilities on-site for guests. If you wish to stay nearby before or after your event at NBC, there are several hotels in the immediate vicinity, such as Van der Valk Hotel Utrecht or Fletcher Hotel Nieuwegein.

What are the opening hours of NBC?

Can I use branding elements for my event?
At the NBC, we have various ways to immerse the location in the branding of your event. The possibilities are numerous, ensuring that your guests know exactly which event they are attending! Contact your account or project manager for more information.
Can I send items or packages in advance of my event?
The NBC has its own mailroom, making it possible to send items or packages to the NBC in advance. We will ensure that these items or packages are in the right place when you arrive!
What if I need more capacity for my event?
If you find you need more capacity leading up to your event than initially anticipated, we are happy to work with you to find a suitable solution. We have almost everything in-house, which makes us very flexible. We also have two large event halls, three hospitality areas, The Lounge, and 22 different rooms. Plenty of space!
Does the NBC have outdoor grounds?
Sure! Our attractive, green garden of 2,150m² offers diverse possibilities for your event with a capacity of 2.000 guests for lunch, drinks or dinner, for example.
Does the NBC have dressing rooms?
We have four fully equipped dressing rooms available. Would you like to use one or more dressing rooms during your event? Ask your contact person about the possibilities.
What are the possibilities with the projection in the Grand Hall and Event Hall?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to bring your own vendors for catering or technical support at the NBC. We have our own dedicated teams and established partners for catering and tech to ensure we can provide the highest quality and service for your event. Where can I find the general and booking conditions?
Our general and booking conditions are always part of the quote you receive from us. If you want to receive them separately, you can send an email to reservations@nbcconferencecentre.com.

We ensure that everything is ready on time for your event. If you want to set up specific items yourself, coordinate this well with your project manager.

Do I need to take out an event insurance?
Organizing an event can involve all sorts of risks. From an unexpected cancellation of an artist or speaker to damage to equipment or an accident. To protect you as an event organizer against these types of risks, we recommend that you take out event insurance for your event. This insurance provides coverage for various situations that could affect your event, allowing you to plan and execute your event with peace of mind!
Event insurance offers different coverages so you can choose which risks you want to insure. For example, costs incurred due to unforeseen cancellation, accident coverage, damage to equipment or cancellation due to severe weather. The coverages and costs may vary from one insurance company to another. There are of course several providers and to get you started, we have listed three different insurance companies below. Food & drinks
Good food and drinks, we love it! And of course, we are happy to tell you more about the delicious food and drinks our kitchen team prepares.
Do you separate waste?
At the NBC, we do everything we can to separate our waste. We collect our paper, metal, and residual waste separately.
What material are your disposables made of?
A large portion of our disposables is made from palm leaves. Only fallen leaves are used in the production of these disposables. These leaves are dried and processed into disposable tableware. The dried leaves are manually stretched and flattened, then formed into plates and bowls using a high-temperature press. No chemical binding, bleaching, cleaning, or preserving agents are used during this processing.
How do you prevent food waste?
We have a no-waste policy to combat food waste. We have found that no-shows at events are the biggest cause of food waste. Therefore, it is very important to make it easy for guests to both register and, especially, to cancel their attendance.
Is the culinary offering certified?
Our kitchen team assembles a culinary offering that is as sustainable as possible. The common thread in our culinary offering is that we always work with high-quality, seasonal products. This is not only delicious but also much less harmful to the environment. Additionally, our kitchen often uses organic and fair trade products, and our meat, fish, and vegetables are always certified.
Can dietary requirements or allergies be accommodated?
Of course, our kitchen team takes into account any dietary requirements or allergies of the guests. We kindly request to receive this information at least one week before the event. As an organizer of an event at the NBC, you can pass this information on to your contact person.
Are you attending an event held at the NBC as a guest? Then please communicate your dietary requirements or allergies to the event organizer in a timely manner. This information is often requested when you register for an event.
Can I bring my own catering?
We are a full-service venue with our own kitchen team and therefore provide catering for business events. As a result, using your own catering partner is not possible.
Can I bring my own vendors?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to bring your own vendors for catering or technical support at the NBC. We have our own dedicated teams and established partners for catering and tech to ensure we can provide the highest quality and service for your event. We pride ourselves on having everything we need to meet all your needs and make your event a success.
Do you work with set partners for catering?
At the NBC, we take everything into our own hands. Our talented chefs prepare delicious dishes with passion and skill using local products straight from our own kitchen. So you don't have to worry about engaging external catering partners. We ensure that your guests are culinary pampered with our tasty creations.
